Well I finally got around to having the Black Scorpio put through an MOT (it has been stood for 7 months) so gave it to the mechanic with a big list of jobs to do and instructions to pop it in for the test first to see how bad it would be.....

...... and it passed without requiring any work! ;D Just a couple of advisories and the windscreen washer pump has been killed by the recent freezing weather.

I'm not complaining , but it'll be a few days before it's useable as despite passing I'm having the brakes and suspension looked over, new brake pads all round, gearbox fluid and filter changed and Fuel Shut Off loom replaced. Should keep the mechanic busy for a while!

How did it pass without the washers working?

Good point....mechanic knows tester ....words along the lines of "You ARE going to change this aren't you George?" were spoken.... Certificate issued ;D

Well to be fair, they did check it thoroughly, just decided to be nice to the mechanic as he knew he'd do the work. :)

Either way it was a good result and the washer pump is being replaced on Monday I believe :)

I suppose it saves a few minutes on the free retest after it gets done!
