Well picked car up after it passed MOT ;Dwent to the car wash all nice and gleaming, about two miles from home noticed temp on three quarters never been that high fans kicked in started to worry now, got home had a cup of tea went out and checked water nothing :o put some in well tried to chucked it out from somewhere in the middle of engine, tow truck back to garage, hose split coud'nt even see the hose never mind replace it, took them two hrs to do the job, the joys of owning a scorpio :) Len.

was it the hose that runs under the cylinder head? had that one go before

Dont need one at the moment and fingers crossed I never will, but parts for these cars get scarcer by the day. Do you have the part number, price etc.

£150 including the tow truck :'( but running sweet now ;D

I wrote off S29COS because at the time, that hose was not available from anywhere........ Ford dealers included!! :'( :'(

I would love to, but my S Class has all the gadgets I could ever want now! plus I have a couple of Corsairs for the Sunday summer days!

Scorpios were fun while they lasted (almost 10 years of ownership) and I owned about 8 in total over the years, all facelift Cosworths!
