Auto Glym Super-Resin Polish. I use Mer on the Gal's car, but everything (and I've tried a lot) apart from auto-glym seems to leave faint smearing on the body.

Did you get the centre caps done, hard to tell from the photos?

No. I haven't had the centres done. If you look at the pics of the near-side you can just tell that there is a slight colour difference. I'm going to get some second-hand centres in any old condition, and strip them out and get them done. My problem will probably be getting the FORD badge for the centre. I have no idea if Ford still does a badge that size. The rest of the bits I can do no problem, I'll probably use Stainless-Steel button socket-head bolts instead of the torx bolts in them.

Search on Ebay for ford oval, various sizes though.

The "Torx" bolts on the caps are just plastic push in's and should come out and go back easy enough

Och aye I ken that Baz. But the ones on my centres are a bit scabby, and Stainless Steel buttons would look better I think.
