Hi.Thank's..I was looking for start new thread..Oh silly me..Anyway.  I am from Wargrave in Berkshire..I picked up for £250 a really nice 2.3 auto in blue. Reg: R157MTF. sold in part x for a jag cause ford wanted £680 to stop (what they said was air-con fans)I have the quote, but it was heater fan running full speed. Cost me £19.99 for the part on ebay and as you most likely know, 10 mins to fit. it's had one owner from new and full service history. The only thing it may need for MOT in Sept is a lower r/h suspention arm. By the way this is great site..Once again thank you..Dave

Hi Dave and welcome to this forum. It sounds like you have bought a very nice scorpio.

Last time I was in Wargrave was nearly 40 years ago and had afternoon tea at the film star thingy morley's house.
A very nice area then.

If you need anything you know where we are.

Andy.

Hi. I would like to you all for welcoming me to the site..(1) Andycan, it was Robert Morley and when I first came to Wargrave 30yrs ago, he used to open the local festival it's Paul Danials and Debbie McGee now . (2) Lesterlad aka Rodders, Ive still got most of my own teeth so I'll quit there cause 2 out of 3 aint bad(to quote Johnny Cash). (3) Adam, Where and how they came to that price I really don't know cause they seemingly quoted without seeing the car. This is only what the Jag machanic was told (my grandson-inlaw). oops not machanics now, it's technitions..When it stops raining I'll take some pics and post them..Once again thank you all..Dave
