New MOT, expensive this year, they found a broken
offside coil spring, corroded brake and fuel pipes, and needed
two steering gaiters. Probably, including the service,cost
more than the old girl is worth.

Still, had her four years now and never let me down, can't think
of an equivalent to replace her with.

I have spare struts complete with springs if you need them?

Thanks for the offer Stuart, yes all done in one hit, Mondeo
spring fitted, didn't realise they were inter-changeable.

Just asked the mechanic, said he gave car reg No. to
motor factor he uses, they came up with mondeo coil
spring, it was exactly same. Regrets he has no further info.
