I have to announce that my panther black 24v scorpio estate has just passed a milestone, now just 15 years old (no,,that's not the milestone) last night coming home from a Halloween party in sunny Stockport the odometer clicked around to a new high...
Yes..I crested 30,000 miles!
I also have to report that it starts first time, doesn't leak and everything (apart from the clock light) electrical works perfectly and has no rust...
Oh yes, and chrome is still ON the RS 12spoke rims

Pic-us then! On the news thread I put up a mileage milestone as well, 100k, quickly usurped by Tomp who has just gone passed another milestone!

I persuaded him that a nice Mondeo CDTi would be a good step forward.
Then I showed him my "around town" fuel economy on the computer...18.4mpg
Mind you I have had a genuine 30.1mpg on a l...o...n...g run!

WOW :o. Thats a beautiful looking lady. Thought my every day 1 was doing well on 70k. Other 1 not so good, 192k and tired. Its so nice to these these old girls can still look like they have just left the showroom. :).

30.000? Mine has done over 200.000 and still sweet. one or two niggles though. Looking for experienced enthusiast willing to give it the once over for a manageable fee.
