My trusty 24v Cosworth Ultima Estate recently passed the 300,000 mile mark! She's in daily use doing the 200 mile round trip from home to Bracknell on average twice a week as well as lots of more local trips. She's also just passed her MOT for the year - as my local garage (recently voted best in the country) says "she's driven to the moon now we've got her back to earth"! And with lpg 70 ppl she's (relatively) cheap to run. What a lady!! ;)

it may well be! haven't heard of any other 24v with that mileage! ;D

;D. Brilliant! Really great news!

I truly believe that out Scorps thrive on being driven. I have a 2.9 12 valve saloon ( my first Scorp) which which regularly did a round trip to York and back from Chard, Somerset, and during that time she was absolutly top notch. Now she spends a lot of time sitting and she never feels quite right till she is taken for a decent drive when she feels back to her best;

I also have two 24 valve Cossie Estates which are exactly the same. After a while just sitting doing now't it's like getting granny out of bed. Straight lethargic mate " No want to go anywhere till I'm warmed up :'(, and don't ask for anything exciting" >:). Theeeennnn after about 7miles.....well it's a different story ::) 8). And that's why I love my Ford Scorpio's.

Full of Character!! All those smilies above this "Box" go some way to depicting my relationship to my Scorpios.

Great to hear i knew they are capable of it but never seen one. Keep it up ;D Got any pictures? Would love to see it.

I took a video and some photos of the magic moment (bit tricky driving at the same time). I'll post them plus some of the car (when I work out how to :-/) . BTW she's over 304k miles now.

Wow wow and double wow ,304.000 miles is incredible, just try and comprehend that distance is ridiculous . Well done
