Check out How to do Things for a new article by Bob showing a loom rewire. Those of a nervous disposition should be cautious!!. ::) ;D

Yup! that is exactly the type of horrible mess that I discovered in my scorp loom too, mine was on the n/s wing section of the loom though. It does look very daunting at first but if you are methodical and take your time it is not that difficult a job. :)
