Sorry but I didn't know where to post this.
I have been thinking (yes I know !), that somewhere out there one of you clever computer experts may be into 3D printing, and might be able to print those rare things such as H/L washer covers, which nobody can get hold of.
Don't know whether this is possible and I would be interested to hear other members' thoughts.

Never thought of that! I could have a go at that if someone wants to send me a couple of the different ones as patterns! My work has two 3D printers. :D

Well it's an idea Peter.
Do we know how many different styles there.
I don't know anything about 3D printers. Could you for instance say get a left one and reverse the image to create a right one?
Are items laser scanned first, would give the possibility of re-creating, say, broken lugs.

IIRC there are three styles of these as each cover is dependant on the actual profile of the bumper. I believe that on the early cars they are virtually flat whereas the later facelift ones had two slightly different shapes?. :-/

Aye, I forgot that they are handed. I'll take mine into work in the New-Year. Mine are ordinary early ones even though my Scorp is a 1998.

It was supposed to be a student 'project'. I've had nothing back yet! It will happen at some stage, just need to get the right student.
