Title: "The Beast" MOT Passed!!

Having failed the MOT on three counts: Handbrake, CO2 emissions and rear Shock Absorber, The Beast is now in possession of a "No Advisories" MOT Certificate ;D 8) and wait for it..... :-* .

The story; Handbrake was a seized Calliper which I tried to free off myself but failed, however the garage where I had it MOT'd managed to free it off and it is working just dandy now.

The CO2 Emissions problem. New HO2 Sensor sorted that out.

The rear Shock Absorber was a pig and no two ways about that! It took me 3 days to remove the replacement Shock from my scrapper. Spring Compressors - never used them before and I was scared to death most of the time but managed in the end and I got Mat, at the same Garage to fit it to "The Beast."

And that's it folks. Another year of "The Beast." If you are reading this EricR. How's the Jag?

Now then, why is she only returning 17.3mpg? I recon that a Vacume pipe could be the cause. So its a case of off with the centre of the Inlet Plenum. It's raining

Than you, I feel all cosy and needed. Actually I think I had better shut up.

I do often think of Eric R as I bought "The Beast" from him. I was just wondering whether he still has the Jag....It would be interesting to know..... with all "The Beast's" foibles it would take a lot to make me let her go, but shush now because she might overhear and get all big headed.

Okay, its official! I HAVE FLIPPED :D
