I am pleased to report that my 2.0ltr estate passed it's MOT yesterday. ;D

I had to replace the front wishbones as the FNS ball joint had gone. I had obtained the parts some while ago as I knew it was a possibility. I also replaced the rear Monroe shock absorbers as the lower bush had gone on the NS one.

Finally I replaced the ROS calliper as the handbrake mechanism on that side was prone to sticking on.

I was fortunate to get my MOT guy to do a 'check' about a month ago and it clearly showed a big imbalance on the handbrake so although it would have passed it had annoyed me once too often. ;)

I now have a ticket for 13 months. Yeeessss! :D

In reading this for the sake of honesty 'I' as it relates to the physical work refers to my friendly mechanic! ;)

Another one passes! Hooray! Well done. Mines coming up in about Seven weeks, just got to change the petrol tank (I've got a new one) and the discs and pads all-round. Hopefully then it'll get through.

Thanks Glyn. Good luck to you too. I got the bumper off today, and realised I'll also be best removing the draw-bar of the tow-bar.................what a blasted nuisance! I'll need to paint the new tank first. Oh well, I've got till 20th July. ;)

Replaced my NS post cat sensor. Was fairly straightforward after I'd issued a string of expletives :)
