ok guys , not sure how to put this ........ive boughtva vauxhall !!!
Started a new job which involves a lot of driving (no not an uber driver) but anyway my mondeo 2.5V6 was just to thirsty . On a good run i was only getting 30-32 mpg , in my new insignia im getting almost 50mpg admittidly im now in a diesel. I looked at getting a new mondeo diesel but they were either to expensive or to high milage . I got a 10 plate insignia with all the bells and whistles with full service history with only 76k on the clock for 4 grand .so far so pleased , although not as comfortable as a ford its ok . Drives lovely . So there .ive admitted it but dont hate me, it was an economic decision and nothing else . If i hadnt taken this job i wouldnt have even contemplated getting rid of the mondeo , it really is the nearest ford ive found to compare to the scorpio . So dont hate me guys

We won't hate you . Might not speak to you for a few weeks months ! But needs must. LOL
All the rest of my family all drive VX cars .

Lol . Got to say vauxhalls have come on bundle since i owned a omega , 20 years or so ago , but still miss my scorpio big time

OMG! The competition! I'm the first into work at the college in the morning, and I have a 'special' space. People tend not to park in 'my' space unless I'm very late. Only a couple of weeks ago a really good friend of mine that's also a work colleague, parked his Insignia in MY space. I caught him just as he parked whilst driving into the car-park. I asked him to move his car...................because I'm a "luxury-car-driver' don't you know! "what do you drive, an 'Insignificant' is it"? I just said, "move-it".

Vauxhalls...................Jesus! ;D
