I have been lent an April 1998 price list for the Scorpio and it was interesting to see that they charged the same price at each level regardless of whether you had 2.3, 2.5TD, automatic or estate. So list for a 2.3 Ghia manual was the same as for a 2.5TD Ghia automatic estate. Only the 2.9 was more and quite a bit more at that.
