I mentioned a while ago pearns my blue cos saloon I was gonna rescue was eventually sold to a guy ( who's wife had enquired about the car as a general interest email, attached were some pictures of a car i had noted in bristol a 2.3 saloon with a note to the pictures saying "this is the car we show" basically on the land they own, and looking clean I didn't buy at the time as it had a heater problem, cold heater=lots of money, they had obviously bought it after theis as it was on ebay eventually for £800 start over a year ago.

Anyway the story goes I was adamant the car would not be bangered, and mentioned this several times in emails to & from her.

Too many gone this way and unscrupulous people are out to mis lead you.

So if your selling yours beware, I got deceived and was truly convinced it was being saved. >:( >:( >:(

There are certainly some people prepared to lie well when it comes to buying and selling cars, you have to be very careful not to be taken in. Do the banger fellows just concentrate on projects and cars with major problems, or are they also happy to pay market value (whatever that is) for viable examples that are on the road?
