Well, the water pump on my Cossie Estate 1996, BOB engine has packed up, Waaaa! Anyway, I need to get it sorted: Either somebody on here has a good one suitable for "Ruby" or I send it off to S P Water Pumps at Woolston, Warrington. The cost of reconditioning mine is about £167. plus VAT and carriage.

HI Mike,
I spoke with them when my grey estate had a problem. I then decided to go for the granada option as the pump is easily available and the local guy (who we do not speak of now as he let me down!) made an excellent job of "adapting" it to the bob cossie engine, had it there for a while now and no problems with it.

Can send photos if it helps but on here the item is pretty well covered.
Thought you had a spare car around??

All done and dusted. My friend Graham came round on Sunday and took the Water pump off The Beast and put it on Ruby and all is dandy. Dead simple you think, well it took from about noon to aprox. 8.00pm. All done on my driveway in the increacing cold and dampy drizzle, and working by torchlight.

What a good friend indeed!!
