1995 Ultima 2.9 24V
91K Miles

Sumptuous leather interior has worn very well after 90k miles and only needed a clean and conditioning with Autoglym Leather Restorer. Have to be careful as the leather is ventilated and the white cream is a devil to get out of the holes. However you only make that mistake once LOL

Rear seat legroom is excellent - both front seats are fully back and there's still loads of legroom for 6 footers.
The standard sound setup is hard to beat without spending several hundreds of pounds. Rear speakers with tweeters and a 6 CD changer with RDS radio makes pleasant listening.
The Business End - a superb driving position with steering wheel that adjusts in two directions and wheel mounted cruise control. To the left is a control stick for the stereo.
Climate Control is a joy - set different temperatures on both sides of the front cabin and the system automatically sets the air distribution, using the aircon as needed. Front windscreen is heated too.
On board computer which gives consumption and speed along with distance remaining on current fuel and outside temperature. It's a little hard to use on the move until you learn where it is and how to use it.
Those leather seats smell as good as they look and are both heated. Passenger seat is all manual with pump up lumber support.
OK, sorry about the mats but I needed something hard wearing (that's my excuse anyway). Centre console carries the electric seat heater switches, rear electric window override and traction control override and the drivers electric seat switches can be seen on the seat base.
Automatic dipping rear view mirrors works extremely well. It uses an LCD panel rather than a dipping mechanism and can be switched on or off. A sensor detects light shining on it which darkens the glass.

If you are looking for relays and they are not under either of the two underbonnet fuse boxes then they might be here. There is a clipped access panel in the roof of the glovebox.

Lower models were fitted with cloth seats - there is a noticeable difference in quality between the two hence the desirability of leather.
Compare this to the Ultima rear passenger compartment above.
