Please follow the advice contained in the Airbags manual. Any disconnection of the seats containing side airbags, or any of the pyrotechnic seatbelt tensioners, should only be attempted after disconnecting the battery for twenty minutes, or serious injury could result.

If for any reason an airbag needs to be deployed then do so in a controlled and safe manner by follow ing the instructions Deploying airbag in safety.
