NOTE: windscreen are directly bonded to the chassis of the car.  Although windscreen repair companies will repair the windscreen at the roadside, I recommend that you have it repaired at home while standing on a level surface and do not use it for at least 12 hours afterward.  This provides enough time for the adhesives to bond properly and prevents the occurrence of annoying leaks.
