Auxillary Warning Systems

All models have PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System) protecting the starter and engine management system, so that even if an identical key is used, without programming the car will not start.

Higher models have a built-in alarm, while some Scorpios will have ultra-sonic movement detectors with glass sensors, depending on specifications and factory optrions taken up at the time of ordering the vehicle.
