Testing
Connect the De-Ice switch as shown above, using freezer spray, ice water is not cold enough, spray the probe for 1 second. The contacts should open and be indicated on the DVM, within
10 seconds they should re-close.

Removal
To change.
Look at the description here about getting at the thermistor. Remove the 2 vacuum pipes for the re-circ valve.
Unplug the re-circ valve connector and de-ice switch connector. Remove screw from top of re-circ assy.
Remove re-circ assy. Remove 2 screws from de-ice switch.
Remove thermistor.
